Dreameater is a dark, story-driven exploration game set within a splintered dreamscape where memories decay, gods murmur in the distance, and something unseen lingers just out of sight. You awaken in a world woven from forgotten truths and unfinished dreams, guided only by symbols that refuse to explain themselves and spirits who have forgotten how to rest.

Play unfolds through quiet rituals of discovery. You will follow wandering ghosts to the remnants of who they once were, gather objects steeped in memory, and read fragments of lost lives carved into ancient tablets. Through symbolic puzzles and gentle acts of return, you restore stolen souls to their owners, easing them into peace. Each choice leaves an echo behind, and the dream remembers not what you solved but what you chose to mend.

Nothing is explained outright. The world speaks in hints, omissions, and echoes—and what you choose to collect, ignore, or destroy will shape how the dream remembers you.
